Software Engineer
Software engineer with end-to-end ownership across mobile, web, backend, infrastructure, and deployment.
- Backend: Architected REST APIs in NestJS/TypeScript and Express/JavaScript with idempotent payment processing (Mercado Pago webhooks), async transaction flows, and multi-database design (PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Firestore) using Prisma, Mongoose, and Sequelize.
- Mobile: Shipped cross-platform iOS/Android apps in React Native (Expo) with Google Maps/Mapbox integration, real-time geolocation, proximity search, and live route calculation.
- Real-time: Built WebSocket-based chat systems (1:1 and group), live status updates, and collaborative features across multiple products.
- Frontend: Developed Next.js/React admin dashboards with inventory management, financial tracking, XLSX import, and consumer-facing platforms with secure checkout flows.
- Infrastructure: Provisioned and hardened Linux servers on DigitalOcean with Nginx reverse proxies, TLS, SSH policies, firewall rules, fail2ban, and zero-downtime PM2 deployments.
- Cloud & AI: Leveraged AWS (Lambda, API Gateway, S3, RDS, Cognito), GCP (Cloud Functions), and Firebase (Auth, Firestore). Integrated AI chat assistants trained on PDF corpora with per-user quota management and built gamification engines with points, rewards, and partner discount systems.
